Thinking about the causes of the English Civil War and the American Revolution, how does the French Revolution compare? In what ways are they similar or dissimilar?

Having read the article " Mali in the Crossfire", one finds many unifying themes between the events and the state of affairs in Mali, and what occurred in the English Civil War.
